MEET SOPHIA

A native of Texas, Sophia’s passion for fine art, home, and architecture, inspire her designs.  From a child, she was  formally trained in fine art, leading to several successful  one-woman art shows.  Her experience in theater set design, teaching, and work in the fashion and design industry influence Sophia’s interior design process.  Sophia combines her experience with a fundamental approach to interiors with her strong understanding of the Design Principals;  scale, texture, patterns, color, proportion, and repetition.

Sophia is passionate about creating spaces and environments that are comfortable and  livable, yet refined and  functional.  Sophia believes each space is designed for the client’s lifestyle, and reflects their personality and  authenticity.  Sophia Designs uses an extensive and expansive catalog of talent and experience for residential or commercial ventures.

An ASID allied member for over 20 years, Sophia’s work has been featured in multiple publications including Better Homes & Gardens and Architectural Digest.  She is heavily involved in community service outreach such as being a key note speaker at public speaking events, hosting seminars and teaching.
